Standard issue to most US Army personnel and, as a result, often preferred by aircrews, or worn in conjunction with heavier outer gloves/mittens. Also worn by AAF ground crews. Part OD wool with leather reinforced palms and fingers. Marked with contract details and size (9). Appear to be unissued.

WWII era U.S. Army officer's dress gloves, sand coloured suede leather.
Absolutely superb pair of officer's dress or walking out gloves in unlined, sand coloured suede leather of the highest quality. These are typical of the type of gloves favoured by officers of all branches. These are unissued, unworn and still tacked together with a single thread. The fasten at the wrist with a single press stud/snap. The only markings are the size (9) and the fastener is marked but unclear due to oxidation, but I believe it to be Fau Fastener Co. R.I. (Rhode Island).

US Army spats (gaiters) in heavy khaki canvas dated 7th June 1944. Still with laces in place and appear to have never been issued. Couple of small marks seems to be powder or Blanco which will probably brush off. Well marked inside with manufacturer, Quartermaster's nomenclature and size 2R.

AAF Bancroft "Flighter" Ban Vent summer visor cap top.

Excellent replacement top for a Bancroft "Flighter" brand visor cap or "crusher." "Ban Vent" is supposedly ventilated for a cooler cap. Since the label is marked as being made from Polyester and Dacron, this is post WWII (Polyester was actually invented in 1928, but Dacron didn't appear until 1951). Still a perfect match for a wartrime cap colourwise, and no doubt easier to keep clean an moth free!

US Army WWI enlisted man's breeches.

WWI era US Army enlisted man's wool breeches in superb condition. OD wool with button fly, all buttons marked US Army, and retaining linen label to back of waist detailing size 36" waist and 27" inseam. Lack only the laces for tying up the bottom of the legs. It would be hard to find a pair in better condition, especially in such a large size.

WWII US Navy officer's cap with superb multi-piece badge.

Lovely example of a lightweight US Navy officer's white top cap, in excellent condition, though lacking the leather sweatband (easily replaced but not necessary for display). White cotton top, patent leather leather peak with green checkerboard backing and light basketwork frame. Its best feature however, is the stunning, heavy multi-piece badge with embroidered label to back indicating Hillborn & Hamburger, Inc. of New York. A lovely cap marked size 7-1/4.
